Ocean City, MD: baby gear rental and travel guide

Plan your Ocean City trip

Maryland beach access and parking without assuming sand is stroller-friendly. This travel guide does not establish Packless Baby rental availability in Ocean City, MD.

Beach access is location-specific in Maryland

This guide concerns Ocean City, Maryland, not Ocean City, New Jersey. The town's official accessibility information describes designated beach access locations from the Inlet to 145th Street and a complimentary beach-wheelchair program for guests with disabilities. That program is not a stroller rental service, and an accessible street entrance should not be interpreted as proof that an ordinary stroller can travel across all beach sand. Before choosing accommodation, identify the exact beach entrance you intend to use and ask about its current surface and seasonal facilities. A short beach visit with a return to the room is a practical infant itinerary.

Set up parking and keep naps independent of the beach

Ocean City's official tourism parking page says parking is available in city lots, private lots, and on certain public streets unless posted otherwise. It also notes a transition from traditional meters to ParkMobile and directs visitors to the town for current rules. Check payment instructions where you actually park rather than assuming every lot uses the same system. For families with babies, reduce unloading by choosing one beach access area per outing and keeping the room available for feeds and sleep. These are planning recommendations; the cited pages do not establish stroller storage, infant sleeping facilities, or year-round staffing at every access point.

Your gear checklist

• Stroller: confirm the exact model, folded size, child limits and the local access rules above.
• Sleep: ask your accommodation to confirm its crib or play yard; use only the manufacturer's approved mattress or pad.
• Car seat: arrange a suitable restraint before your first drive, not only at hotel check-in.
• Delivery: confirm your precise address, arrival window and collection arrangements.

Compare a confirmed rental quote, not a citywide price

Compare daily rates, minimum billable days, delivery and collection. Ask whether delivery is round-trip or each-way. This guide provides no citywide rate or guaranteed gear.
