Naples, FL: baby gear rental and travel guide

Plan your Naples trip

Beach breaks with a baby around downtown and pier closures. This travel guide does not establish Packless Baby rental availability in Naples, FL.

Keep Naples Beach close to a nap break

Naples Beach sits near Third Street South and Fifth Avenue South, so a family outing can pair a short shoreline visit with a meal rather than a full day away from your room. Choose one downtown area and one beach entrance to limit unloading the stroller and baby supplies. The tourism bureau lists public parking and foot showers among beach amenities; confirm facilities at your chosen access rather than assuming every entrance has them. Pack feeding and changing supplies, and leave time to return for a nap. Enjoying the shoreline or sunset does not require access to Naples Pier.

Choose facilities outside the pier work zone

The City of Naples says Naples Pier access is closed for rebuilding, including its stairs, restrooms, showers, and 12th Avenue South west of Gulf Shore Boulevard South. With a baby, do not make that construction area your planned bathroom or cleanup stop. The city identifies pedestrian bypasses at the Broad Avenue South and 13th Avenue South beach ends, with restrooms at both locations; only part of the pier parking lot remains available. Check the project notice before departure and choose an approach accordingly. Bring your own changing supplies, and do not assume listed restrooms include changing tables or that bypasses suit every stroller.

Your gear checklist

• Stroller: confirm the exact model, folded size, child limits and the local access rules above.
• Sleep: ask your accommodation to confirm its crib or play yard; use only the manufacturer's approved mattress or pad.
• Car seat: arrange a suitable restraint before your first drive, not only at hotel check-in.
• Delivery: confirm your precise address, arrival window and collection arrangements.
